Evaluation of Iceland’s National Action Plan for the Implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security 2013–2016

The United Nations University Gender Equality Studies and Training Programme (UNU-GEST) is undertaking an evaluation of Iceland’s National Action Plan for the Implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security 2013–2016.

The main purpose of the evaluation is to assess the implementation and results of Iceland´s national action plan on women, peace and security in the period 2013-2016. The review and outcome will then guide the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the process of developing a new national action plan, which will be available for the period 2017-2020.
